Small collage thing w/ painted newspaper bits. I kind of like colors on the text, I might do something else with it soon.

Will probably be one of many. I really believe in self-portraiture as a way of growth. A really great project I always think of is by an artist called Android (he's mostly a digital artist but all of his work is breathtaking). He did a self-portrait everyday for a year no matter what was going on in his life in varieties of media. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl5KKt9YqEE < The video is slightly agitating because I just want to look at his drawings, but it seems like the thread on ConceptArt.org was taken off (probably because a poster is up for sale of it).

Self-Portrait  à la marble bust

The strange texture in the center is resist that didn't quite work on cheap paper :-/

Pen and watercolor

This is a tiny sketch I found in an old journal of mine from years back. Not very exciting, but I remember being at my dad's house sitting outside on a fold-out chair in the sun just enjoying the weather mindlessly drawing stuff in the yard. It reminds me that I'll be okay on my own.

Drawing of one of my friends I did yesterday. One good thing about having to move back home is that I get to see my best friends more often. There will probably be many drawings of the three of them. <3

Water-soluble pencil and watercolor

One of my goals is to spend more time on my drawings.
